As Adsp. Dentist Ziya Sarıyıldız / DentMedicaBodrum (“Healthcare Institution”), operating at Çırkan Neighborhood, İsmet Paşa Street, A Block, No:2/5, Bodrum / Muğla, we attach great importance to the security of personal data processed within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) in our capacity as the “Data Controller.”
To ensure this, all necessary technical and administrative measures are taken, and required audits are carried out. Personal data are stored for as long as the purpose of data processing remains valid. Necessary security measures are implemented to prevent stored and recorded data from being lost, accessed by unauthorized persons, or used unlawfully.
a) Purpose of Processing Personal Data
In the processing of personal data, the principles set out in Article 4 of the Law under the heading “General Principles” are complied with, including processing in accordance with the law and good faith, accuracy and, where necessary, being up to date, processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, being relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purpose for which they are processed, and being retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed.
Your personal data are collected in accordance with the conditions for processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698, for the purposes of carrying out and improving the medical, technical, and administrative processes of our Healthcare Institution in line with providing healthcare services.
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically by our Healthcare Institution through automatic or non-automatic methods depending on the nature of the relationship between you and our institution; updated as long as this relationship continues; and processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 in order to fulfill our legal obligations as the Data Controller.
b) To Whom and For What Purpose the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your personal data may be transferred by our Healthcare Institution to relevant institutions, limited to the personal data processing conditions and purposes, provided that adequate measures are taken, in cases where the conditions specified in paragraph 2 of Article 5 and paragraph 3 of Article 6 of Law No. 6698 are met.
c) Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Our Healthcare Institution collects personal data directly during diagnosis and treatment processes or through hand delivery, mail, or cargo; by manual, digital, automatic, partially automatic, or integrated methods. These personal data are collected to provide healthcare services and to fulfill the legal obligations specified under the section “Purpose of Processing Personal Data.”
In addition, personal data may be processed and transferred within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.
d) Rights of the Personal Data Owner Listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698
As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Healthcare Institution through the methods outlined below, our Healthcare Institution will finalize your request free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged.
